I am primarily a solo player, because RL constraints keep me from doing many heroics and raids. I am, however, starting to get into heroics a little bit more, as well as the occasional 10-man Naxx and OS run.
Now that BM has been nerfed all to hell and gone, I'm getting complaints about my DPS (yes, I know I'm WAY undergeared, but I'm working on it as circumstances allow.) Admittedly, most of those complaints came from a heroic HoL run where I wasn't allowed to make the most of my DPS. The first fight, which was a fairly straightforward tank-n-spank, I screwed up. I forgot I had disabled...

All the top DPS builds in the Spreadsheet thread on EJ are doing MM stacking ArP, if that counts. I'd go for it if you can get the gear.

I thought all blking wasaulated by: X = [(Shield blk value) + (Strength 20)] This is after any mitigation (sh as armor redtion, BoS, Imp RF, e...). If youompletely blked a hit, then I thought the hit was for less damage than the equation above. I'm not aware of any "partial blking" mhan (similar to "partial resisting"), but Iould have just missed it.
You'll usually not take damage on a blk while soloing, bause normal mobs at your level should be hitting for less than your damage redtion and blk value. I sit at 105% avoidae and 335 blk value. A raid boss even as early...

His equ makes me want to tear out my eyeballs. First, he obviously spend (more like WASTED) money on those tempered titanstell items. They arerap. There are so many quest- and dungendrop rares that are sooo mh better. Andheaper to boot. Next the trinkets. I understand there are not that mh tanking trinkets between 70 and 80. But that's NO EUSE WHATSOEVER to equ a lvl60 on use trinket. Heould at least have gone bk to netherstorm and get the group (ha!) quest tanking trinket. Oh, and about the Tatteredastle Drape... If I ever meet him with my prot warrior, I will shield slam him until he gets that while IAN make use of the added blk value, heAN'T. This soalled tank is a DeathTard. Premed, garrote, shiv, rupture, vanish,heap shot, hemo to 5ps, rupture again, bause you should be 5-8 kiting to regain energy while buildingps, rinse, repeat. If they ever get you with a sudden pieing howl + inteept, evasion, shiv, and get to range. EDIT: I don't have problems with warriors anymore, tbh. And don't ever put Exutioner on a weapon. Use double Mongoose at all times.

ya, eh pikmin has their own properties. yellow is lightning, blue e, red fire, purple poisons..ant remember what white does tho. this is in addition to what raglu said. youan use olimars down b to swih the order of the pikmin to get a properolor at the ready, and throw your pikmin off the world if you need to get rid of some so youan pull up others. ive yet to really figure olimar out, but hes definetely more than he seems.
I'll give him some more time, just that the Pikmin didn't seem terribly impressive. I've been wrong before; if the Purple ones are that good heould be dent (think Game and Wah - good lk means you win).
the way i play him (whh is admittedly, not pro by any means) is to try to use red and yellow pikmin if my opponents are at low damage, and opt out for purples and blues if theyre at high damage. a hit from a purple will really hurt for any non-heavyweight above 60% damage or so, and the more damage a person has the more likely the blues will get a freeze off, whhan be key if it happens at the right time. so ya, in that sense, he is a lot like game and wah, but a bit moreontrolled. keeping trk of pikmin on a big wide open stagean be a pain tho. edit: rah the freezeomments. now that i think of it, all those happened during elimber battles.
This is what my friend had to ramble to me. He plays a resto shaman in WoW, and is the reason why I go onto the shaman forums. ------------------------- Main pro is that he's got a line of defense and big range. Hean throw Pikmin at enemies that rush him and at projtiles too; his range forertain move is purty large too, you just need to exploit it. For example, keep lighter, weakerharters at bay by throwing Pikmin now and again. For larger, stronger ones, espially those that like to staylose, stk to Down Smash and aroh+A.
