Itching to Know

Well, if you're raiding and solo grinding, BM is the way to go for raw damage output- and countless tests have proven that.-Ayrianna 80 Nightelf Hunter - Queen of Typos

I'm sorry. But first off you have to decide what you're going to do with your hunter. Are you going to arena, or are you going to raid/instance? If you're going to arena, MM is the way to go. If you're going to raid/instance, BM is the way to go all the way up to T6 content. However if you're talking about raiding, it can vary a bit depending on the fight. Some fights aren't pet friendly so MM gets a bit of an edge, but more often than not BM will simply out dps MM. At the same time though, BM isn't the best spec to try to do arenas in. Decide what you want to do as a hunter, then spec Death Knight of Frostmane
Warcraft raiding blogHello everyone. As of late I have been torn with the decision to switch specs. I am currently Survival/MM. Well, let's get to the point shall we?

I am pretty sure I want to switch specs. However I do not know whether to switch to MM or BM. I know how to play BM very well. I leveled BM. I also know how to play MM fairly well too. To the question... What spec would create more RAW damage? MM is focusing more on AP and mana reduction, and BM is focusing more on pet improvement and overall attack speed. I think Aethien said, Machine Gun. I just want to know whether or not MM or BM would produce the most efficient raw damage. Obviously this is based off of opinions. I know that there is no master spec or such. I would just like some input. Thanks for your time.-Snarf, snarf.
